Do I ride a horse during my session?

In short, not normally. As our Equine-assisted Therapy sessions are based on Counselling, they are not conducted as mounted sessions.

As your therapy sessions progress, we will discuss with you the options available should you wish to pursue a riding opportunity

We do offer basic Horsemanship, Riding Lessons and Coaching Classes as part of our Services. These services are offered by appointment only. Please Contact Us to discover more.

Do I need a Doctors / Medical Professionals Referral to access your services?

Whilst we do work in conjunction with all the Doctors, Psychiatrist’s, Psychologist’s and other Mental Health Professionals in the local area, it is not essential for you to have a referral to access our services. If you would like to access our services as an Independent Client, simply complete a Client Intake Form and a member of the team will be in touch to walk through the process with you.

Do you work with NDIS Participants?

Yes, most certainly. If you are Self Managed, or your package is managed through a Support Co-Ordinator and Plan Manager, we are happy to invoice directly to your Plan Managers as required.

How much do sessions cost?

For our NDIS Participants, we invoice according to the relevant line item in the NDIS Schedule of fees, depending on the services provided. For more information about pricing and details of our Private Client Sessions, please don’t hesitate to Contact Us

Where are you located?

Is Willow Park wheelchair friendly?

Whilst Willow Park is a working farm, the area where our sessions are facilitated is reasonably smooth with access to shade and toilet facilities. We have recently added a mobility scooter and two golf carts to our stable to make movement for some of our clients easier.

Can I volunteer for you?

As our services are facilitated as Counselling Sessions, our Privacy Policy and requirements do not allow us to have other people in attendance while a therapy session is in progress

That’s the easy bit!

You can book online by Clicking Here, or simply give our team in the office a call at (07) 4179 0730 to discuss your requirements.
